From the initial A5 concepts I created and the feedback I received I wanted to continue on with some of these ideas but also explore various other ways to display my concept on a poster. With this plan I began to research various existing posters with a watercolour and infographic theme, I was able to find a couple of designs that would easily influence some new A5 concepts that could be developed more/merged with other ideas to become a really good design. Some of the watercolour pieces were unclear on the message when I asked my fellow flatmates for feedback as I was convinced that was the case. I think they look aesthetically pleasing though (especially the right one below) and could look really nice if developed to express the message more.
I also experimented slightly with the typefaces of the main four social media websites; Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram, seeing what they would look like in each others typefaces if they would be still recognisable.
Concept developed: Working with addiction and not allowing social media to become a distraction to the ups and downs of life. - How much time is spent on social media that could be used for something more productive and worthwhile.
